Beer, revisited

If anyone is going to the crypt then you’re in for a good session, I used my first tokens on traditional 4-4.5% good old-fashioned bitters , then onto various stouts . Didn’t have a bad half all night.

The Clock Face in Sint Ellen’s is about the only one anywhere near that I know of.

Tend to be more Lancs and Cumbria, with a few in N Yorks on the Cumbria border.

The one I know, and years back used to frequent regularly, is the Rose and Crown in Bebington.

I like their beer, but it’s a bit of an acquired taste.

Has to be kept well, their mild was lovely, but haven't had it in a while.
