The Craven Arms in Appletreewick.
One of the best pubs on the planet.
We go once a year and stay in the Shepherds huts at the back of the pub.
There’s another belting pub a minute up the road, that has a least ten quality real ales on too - The New Inn.
That looks belting!

I know you’re a long way from there, but if you’re looking for a week away, you can do a lot worse than that area.
Pubs and places to eat galore, glorious countryside for walking, wild swimming etc.
The Old Pec is kept in these on the bar !

Fantakka.
Had a few of their beers but not this one, which I believe is one of their core offerings. Very nice indeed, just the right level of hop to make it fruity and sharp but still pleasant.

Popped into the Roscoe Arms after work, they had this on, never heard of Mallinson. According to their blurb, it ' produces a nose that hints at mandarin and gooseberry.' Must have missed that nonsense. lol Nevertheless, it went down a treat, love a beer that clings to the glass.

You need to stay somewhere nearby mate or even in one of the Shepherds huts at the back of the pub, as to just have one beer there, would be a disaster.
Ps - if you do intend to stay over, let me know, as I can put you onto some real mixed range of places, to suit any budget
And more importantly, the pubs worth visiting lol

Its the bank holiday East Bristol Brewery trail, first one post covid. We started at Arbor but we're gonna swerve a few of the old guard to try some of the new kids. First up, Wiper and True's new mega site:
