Absolution Amber Ale (5.3%) - Abbeydale Brewery.

Abbeydale is a new brewery to me ( Sheffield based ) and it was a really nice pint.

The best way I’d describe it, would be a full bodied cross between a traditional bitter and an IPA.

I had quite a few, laughing at the Eurovision last night and suffered zero hangover this morning, which is always the sign of a good beer.

Yeah, they're good at doing traditional and modern which isn't always easy

I even see it quite often down here, guess there are just a lot of local breweries in the Liverpool area. Other than Oakham ales, not much else here

There’s more micros in Merseyside, Cheshire and North Wales, than there’s ever been.

The choice is off the scale now.

Don't see them in the pubs so much but their cans are a concistemtly in the bottle shops.

Yeh very generic. Just shows how a nice design can sell well.

In fairness, Spain isn‘t known for the quality of it‘s beers, even San Miguel is pretty bad.

It's the worst imho. Just gives me a foul headache even after 1.

Sampled Mahou a few years ago and found it reasonably drinkable.
