Absolutely epic beer combining 3 of my favourite beer elements, red ale, sorachi hop and barley wine, tastes like the sort of thing Henry VIII would quaff before a hard days a' hunting and a hard night's a' rogering.

Torrside are great, they don't care at all about the popular styles and just come up with mad stuff

Had a night off yesterday but some of these made Friday night, fun.

S43 doing some good stuff at the moment. This American style Barley Wine was a boozy hit of toffee with some dried fruit at the end.


Another small batch from S43, Bigfoot, a barrel aged, smoked maple and coffee breakfast stout coming in at 11%. It was very lovely but I only have one left

6.2% so not crazy. Of all places, I found it at Target (I think you have these stores in the UK) and I live in Virginia so clearly this California brewery has a good distributor. Very juicy and delicious.
