I've been reading an article about beers from the past and it mentioned barley wine. I seem to recall years' ago drinking it, but that's as far as the memory goes. Anybody still drink this or has in the past ?

I have a few JW Lees Harvest Ale in my stash.
You can still get tins of Gold Label Barley Wine. I wouldn't though.
My local still stocks it for a couple of the old ladies who drink in there,
It seems to have become a “ speciality “ drink now days.

I drink it, it think it has a better perception now than it used to. A lot of modern day brewers do one once a year or so
I noticed a few on the Trembling Madness website, bought one at least, not sure how traditional they are though. Dawkins did a fantastic one when I worked there, I thought it could go toe to toe with the Belgians personally.
