High octane DIPA from Falmouth's Verdant and it's a good one, fairly malty sweetness despite the usual heavy hop. 8% so that's me for tonight.

All in on this one....had this in the bar I ran, didn't last long let me tell you.

I hope to try it on draught sometime then, because I'm inclined to snatch up bottles whenever I see 'em in Massachusetts, which isn't that often. Love the stuff.

It's a a classic but the problem is it's pretty common in UK pubs so it can also be really badly kept.

Perhaps it's the pandemic affecting me, but the thought of fine beers being mistreated like that brings a tear to my eye.

There’s quite a few beers like that, beautiful when looked after, but rank when not :

St Austell - Tribute.
Marston - Pedigree.
Deuchars - IPA
Fullers - London Pride.

There’s quite a few beers like that, beautiful when looked after, but rank when not :

London Pride could be the worst offender.

You get tourists coming to London wanting a London pint in a London pub and they end up in some faux old pub eating £22 fish and chips with a pint of malt vinegar.

I guess getting ripped off is part of the charm lol
