Treated myself to this to close out the year:
Northern Monk collaborates with 3 other breweries around a theme once a year, this one's is IPA and the elements that make it up; hops, yeast and malt.
First up is the yeastie boy:
Look at that colour man. Incredibly balanced sour, Verdant are the partner. Not one of those sours that sucks yer face inside out, the sour flavour is like an aftertaste to compliment mildly sweet, lemony new style IPA. Good start.
