Ended up going to a race night on Friday instead so things didn't work out too badly - didn't want to wait outside on the chance that there weren't any spares. Used the Saturday evening tickets though - one of the lads couldn't make it but we still had a decent time. Some nice ales there - Shipwrecked is a favourite of mine
In the White Star tonight for a quick pint. Had an unusual beer with a unique taste : smoky, just like the Scottish malt Laphroaig. You don't think you're drinking ale ; a very weird feeling indeed.

The Asda ! Only place I've seen it apart from Brewdogs's site. It was in stock about 3 weeks ago and the cans quickly went, still got those larger bottles but I'm not a fan of those. If you can lay your hands on some I highly recommend it on a cold blowy Autumn night like this .

Nogne Pale Ale. Norwegian brewery and only been able to find it online (or in Oslo). Well worth it, though.
My favourite glass that atm ! Splendid drink too.
