Im drinking Lapin Kulta ' Laplands Gold' very basic ale but works
...good on you. I've had my afternoon session on the black stuff and it was nectar. Each to their own but my Irish ancestory has clearly impacted my love of Guinness and horse racing.

I made noises along lines that I wouldn't mind a bit of this - let's see what happens come 1st December...My wife wanted me to embrace the ol' Christmas spirit and have an advent calendar like the kids, something I don't normally want to do.
She's insisted however, so I bought one of these:

Had a few of these last night - terrible name for a wonderful beer.
A very dark beer, almost a cross between a bitter and an Oyster Stout.
Blimey, I bought one as they were over £8 here! absolutely amazing stuff though. Great Christmas ahead for you!Bought some Omnipollo/Buxton collaboration Yellow Belly - 11% peanut butter and biscuit Imperial stout. Great flavours with a real kick, defo a sipping beer and a bit of a luxury at £7 for a 330ml bottle. Bought 6, drunk 2 and put the rest away for Xmas...hic!
Tried Orval last night. First new fun beer in a while. It was great.
Also recently tried Fat Tire Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ale (on accident, grabbed the wrong bottle from the cooler) and it wasn't good, but not. Early as bad as the name suggests.
