I wish we'd have kept him. 10-16starts isn't bad at all. He would have won us a few games this season coming off the bench.
 
Never had a problem with Beckford for us.

I thought he was decent and knocked a few in for us (still remember the goal against Chelsea).

Hope he's doing well.

As ridiculous as it may sound, the treatment of Beckford for me was shambolic. The lad had jumped up two divisions! The times he played with a partner we looked excellent (Tottenham at home and Blackpool 5-3). Moyes definitely has some sort of problem with strikers.
 
He's fallen out with Pearson at Leicester so he's probably going to be sold in the summer.

Would you have him back ?

Yeah, he wasn't a great. But he was so clearly a round peg, that Moyes just kept jamming into a square hole.

Summed up everything that's wrong with him.
 
Most natural goalscorer in the league when he was at Everton, more so than the likes of Van Persie, regular starts and he would have been a 20-25 goals a season player. More Moyes mismanagement.
 

I thought I was in the minority of people! Would love him or someone like him up front. No more target man on his own, war of attrition style of football. Through balls for a quick striker to finish, not that difficult?
