The only striker we have who can possibly play as a lone striker is Yakubu because he actually holds the ball up and brings the midfield into play. Beckford doing his forward runs is all well and good but when your a lone striker then your going to be marked for the full 90 minutes so pulling anything off is just 10 times as hard, same goes for when saha was brought on. Why cahill wasn't taken off for saha i don't know..

Didn't do himself any favours... then again he really, REALLY shouldn't be made to lead the line on his own.

Moyes, like he seems to be doing with every player in a blue shirt at the moment, is killing him.

Beckford is alright. He got hammered by the commentary team but he is better than Cahill upfront.

The worst thing about this coming season is that it will be all so predictable.

He stunk, you are right, but he tried and Saha, who stunk equally, isn't getting the same ****.

You could go through a long list of players who stunk today. Barkley would be about the only one missing. Possibly Howard since he had virtually nothing to do.
