With the exception of TX you all should be ashamed of yourselves, bunch of fart arses, Mel Brooks was right!

TX, this is only because you have only been subjected to Americanised Baked Beans. Given the choice between true baked beans (without brown sugar, bacon, BBQ sauce) in tomato sauce and canned spaghetti, beans wins every time. Heinz beans for me, I finally have a store that imports them from Blighty (at $1.19 a can!!!!!!) which me and the wife stock up on religiously.

I figured that when I saw all of the "Beans" responses.

Well next time I make a trip to England, one of you can show me what real beans are like. (y)

being the self proclaimed cultured sophisticate and gastronomist of this forum I'd say my preference is towards the tins in the shop marked "full english".

they have beans PLUS bacon, sausages and black pudding.

Ahhh the simple life...of microwave breakfasts.

Spag Bol is OK if you bust a gut and make it yourself but the tinned stuff is [Poor language removed]. Spag Bol is one of them dishes that batchelors, students, people newly kicked out of there parental home and people on benefits learn to make.

Take pack of mince, take tin of tomatoes, take chopped onion.

mix well over heat. To make Chilli add chilli and kidney beans.

to make spag bol add spaghetti.

to make tacos add tacos.

to make cottage pie add potatoes.

Mince Rocks.
