The 5 live Debate - The Future of Football in Liverpool

Friday 9 April Radio 5 Live will be at the Art and Design Academy, Liverpool John Moores University (1pm - 2pm)

Mark Pougatch examines what the future could hold for Liverpool FC and Everton off the pitch.
Is fan ownership the way forward for Liverpool or is it just a fantasy?
How will Everton compete with the bigger money clubs of the Premier League over the next decade?
And what of the potential groundshare between the two clubs? Could it ever work?

Sounds interesting.

PS Not an April fool joke.

I got offered tickets . Kb'd them so I can go the Grand National night instead , and so I can take Capo-di tutti-Capo to meet Mick Fitz' and Tony McCoy .
I go the National one every year , but it's the first year it hasn't been in The Cavern .
Don't like it being in anywhere except The Cavern - or another such boozer - . Sounds too contrived to me , but I'll give it a go .

If it's at Liverpool University it'll deffo have those pair of belters Professors Rogan Taylor and Tom Cannon speaking....and speaking in that sing-song, media friendly, Scouse-lite accent of theirs. <shudders>

Expect mucho talk of football being a religion, how the game is being whored around by the Premier League anti-Christ, and how Everton and Liverpool should merge and join the I Zingari League.

I only go to meet Mick Fitz' an' McCoy . Though , that Top Blue - btw - Cornelius Lysaght is usually there . Sorts me photies , generally . I heard Nevin is there , too .
I swear though , them two Jockey's are ACE . Proper TOP GEEZERS , BOTH .
