"no-one likes us ...we don't care" fukc MOTD, i stopped watching it a long time ago, i see it sometimes but dont make a point of watching it, any kids starting to see us on there on a sunday morning would think our name is "and finally, Everton".

Don't villa have to play the voyeurs lot soon ?

dear mr wenga,
i feel that you should be aware before your game with aston villa, that they have a player who goes to ground rather easily, in fact he purposely goes to the floor in an attempt to gain an advantage as he doesnt have the ability to actually beat a player. i'm sure you will be grateful for this information and inform the relevent newspapers and expose him before your game.

They also laboured on the point that BOTH Everton and Villa had limited resources correct me if im wrong but havnt Villa Spent close to 90 million in two and a half seasons. What was that all about imagine what Moyesy could od with that kind of money.

Oh, and...

Aston Villa's Champions League tilt will send the club's wage barrier through the £50 million mark.
The Sunday Mirror says figures just released show last season's total was £31.5m, 78 per cent of turnover. But the amount is set to soar following a huge spending spree on the likes of Carlos Cuellar, Steve Sidwell, James Milner, Brad Friedel, Nicky Shorey, Luke Young and Emile Heskey. Stars like Sidwell, signed from Chelsea on £48,000-a-week, all penned bumper deals.

... But "both clubs have the same limited resources"

Was thinking the exact same thing last night. Maybe they don't have the resources like Man Utd, RS and Chelsea, but they also aren't exactly working on a shoestring budget like Moyes is at Everton.

HATCHET MAN: Time for dangerous Fellaini to change his approach before Everton really are sorry | Mail Online

Everton apologists have come up with a range of excuses for the conduct of Marouane Fellaini this season but time has to be called on the way he tries to win headers.
For all that his Marge Simpson hair may draw the attention of referees, he still seems to be getting away with a dangerously aggressive approach.
Against Aston Villa on Sunday Fellaini's elbow connected with Curtis Davies and Zat Knight without proper punishment.
There were similar incidents against Hull and Middlesbrough and 11 bookings since moving to the Premier League last summer tell their own story.
The midfielder may be clumsy rather than malicious but when he tries to win headers he throws out his elbow dangerously and it has to stop before somebody is badly hurt.
Fellaini could legitimately claim he is using his arm to help him jump for headers, to give him more height, but he needs to learn another way.
Everton team-mate Tim Cahill, a much smaller player, has one of the best springs in the League and doesn't seem to put defenders at risk in the process.
He should show Fellaini how it is done.

To be honest I've already began (a couple of weeks ago) to selectively boycott Match of the day (I didn't watch it tonight).

It can't be healthy having so many ex-kopites as so-called pundits:-

the sage hansen
strange lawrenson
sour souness
kopite wannabe mcallister
accent danny murphy
everytin' thompson
silly beglin

There's seven and I'm sure I've missed one or two out. :o

McManamen gives us a fair shout and to be honest anyway as long as we know how good we are then who to [Poor language removed] cares, i would rather come in under the radar

Seems as if the coffers have run a little dry Judgeing by the below.

"Randy knows that to be up there is exceptionally hard work2.

"We know what we've got to do, although I agree with him that this is not the time to be putting the club in financial jeopardy for a short-term gain.

"With a bit of luck, we'll be in Europe next season and we'll attract more quality to the club."

Even though peole hold Lerner up as a paragon of Bossness chairmanship its intresting to note that much of the above player transactions have been carried out by loans put on to Villas books, who were incidently debt free two and a half years ago. Two accumalate that level of debt on the club in two have years is unsustainable and the above comments would indicate that. I think we will see Villa becoming less of a fincial force.

Kenwright out.

Didn't Fat Sam claim otherwise a few weeks ago? Cahill got every decision against him playing Blackburn after these comments. Do agree with the article that Fellaini should adopt his style, because everyone is trying to make him the scapegoat at the moment.

To be fair though, its true. You see the compliation of elbows video MOTD2 made -nasty stuff.

Funny thing it, non of the players are complaining.

The reffs will be defo onto him like a hawk from now on though. I can see a sending off coming for him.

Not denying it's true, it's just that I think he's singled out. He only gets decisions against him. Very seldom gets a free kick because of an offence against him. Take the Boro match for instance. The amount of times he was the subject of illegal challenges against him was cringeworthy. Yet nothing was done by the referee against it. Agree that he does have to change his style as his elbows seem to be flying in a lot.
