what the hell has moyes done to him

i remember his goal pre season a couple of years ago...the one where he ran from half way -- think it was vs notts county

seemed a decent prospect..now hes at tranmere..

anyone lese think given our situation, when we get him back hes worth a run in the team

We simply haven't seen enough of him to know, however if he was a wonderkid like we were all hoping I would have expected more of a breakthrough by now.

I think the best we can hope for is a Leon Osman type career but apparently his attitude is a bit suspect.

Don't think Moyes can be blamed for Jose's stunted development. We all know what he's like off the pitch.

Spoke to Jimmy Martin several months ago. He said that the coaches and management can all see the ability, but the mental side of the game was a problem. He always did look like a rabbit in headlights when he came on. The Tranmere loan could be the making of him. The player he said they all rated was James Wallace, who was probably wasn't as naturally gifted but was mentally strong as ****. He had no respect for reputations whereas Baxter was slightly in awe of the seniors.
