They finished 16th in league 1 last season. I still havent forgiven them for turning us over in the cup a couple of seasons back.

Dickov is the new manager and their and if he can give teach young Baxter his wiley ways - we will have the World Player of the Year on our hands in a couple of seasons.

I see Baxter played for us in OZ today. Came on for Bily after 65 mins. Wonder if Moyes will hold off loaning him out with Gosling seemingly gone (although cant see anything on OS). Think Baxter would benefit from a loan in same way as Osman did.

If true my concern would be, why Oldham?

When Moyes wants to move a player up to the First Team he normally let's them go to a "Championship" side such as Coleman, Ossie and Vaughan. Regular footie he will get, but they are a struggling side. And Paul Dikov, with no managerial experience will be his new manager.

Apart from playing time, can't reallyl see how this helps him.

This is my worry. He is allowed to go to Oldham??????

He has to be, as he holds a first team number and slot.

ok so Im a bit niave, but wouldn't Oldham want him with them, or was he lent after he went to Oz with the squad.

guess it doesn't matter, he always semms to start preseason then fade away.

Do you thin khe could make it the hard way a la Ozzie or go the same way as Kissock, talented but either just not developing quick enough or just not got enough. Seems he does have an edge to me.
