Cynics amongst us seem to think he'll be off pretty sharpish - stretford is his agent, he's sponsored by Nike... There is a precedent

Prob best not to get excited he'll only break our hearts

put him on vs metallist i say!

Yeah perhaps this is the wrong forum to be raising this point. Too many ToffeeWeb heads around.

But to those who still believe in the club and are not peetering on the edge of oblivion just yet. Well the word is that this kid is as good as Rooney at the same age, so should we expect to see him play next season? He will be the same age that Rooney and Vaughan played and scored for Everton. Something else to think about is that when Rooney was coming of age, we were [Poor language removed] crap and had no money. Now we have a good side and have some money.

From all accounts he looks the part. Trepidation (the new word for TWism) is the way forward because:

1 - His agent is Stretford (is this true?)
2 - Michael Branch was ace when he was that young too.
3 - We're Everton and only [Poor language removed] things can happen to us.

Expect him to be wearing a United shirt by his 19th birthday.

For all the stick Moyesy gets about youngsters, both Rooney and Vaughan got played young because they were good enough. If this fella is as good as he sounds, no reason to think he wont get played too. Apart from the fact that we seem to have more competition all round.

If anything this current crop of youngsters sounds TOO good to be true.... how are we going to blood all of them?

Same way Man U and Ajax blood there youngsters. Well same way Man U used to blood their youngsters. Rather than spend 10million on Fernandes, we can bring in Kissock.

Rather than spending money replacing Yobo we can bring in Sinnott or Rodwell.

You make it sound simple Ghost and I wish they were that good.

Kissock better than Fernandes? Sinnott better than Yobo?

Its likely they will end up playing for Hartlepool before theyre 25.

much as it breaks me heart to say it , the c man's probably spot on . after the last time , [Poor language removed] all would surprise me . shame . lcab :(

Not likely since we have a bunch of strikers already.. AJ, Yak, McFadden, Vaughan, Anichebe, MYzxikrzxlie (sp ;) ) and a lot of other strikers Moyes have purchased with seniority over him.

IN 2-3 years perhaps.. but not next season unless something drastic happens.

You know what, this is all I hear from this forum, we won't see any youngsters for 3 years, Kissock, not yet, Rodwell not for at least 4 years. Blah blah blah.

Are our strikers that potent that they are in the comfort zone?
Are we blessed with creative midfielders?
Do we have plenty of quality centre backs now and in the future?

If Arsenal can bring through young quality, then why shouldn't we? May I remind folks that Anichebe seems to get a game frequently, and he hasn't got any real ability. So if a player like Rooney starts to make noises, he is going to get in the team.

In 3 years the manure will be looking for a Rooney replacement and if his agent is that arse you bet there will be things going on.
