Battle for 4th

Key to beating them could be the fact they have nothing to play for that day yet we have. Might be an easier away game than Sunderland or Hull in that respect.

I would agree but alot of their players are trying to impress Hodgson, so they won't be 'on the beach'. They are a very professional outfit too. We owe Sunderland and Hull is last game of the season, they may have an FA Cup final the following weekend too.

Our moment of re-emergence will come under Martinez, but this season may just be too soon. I wouldn't rule anything out when you can string together 5 consecutive league victories though.

At this point of the season fixtures really dont matter imo. We saw what Palace did to Shelski.

We can win anyone and also lose. Same goes for Gunners etc.

Important thing is to work your thing and put yer azz to the grass.

We are fighting for the 4th now...europe is a plan b.

Rise your fist, grab your balls and roar.

Bobbys Blue Army.

Sometimes you can forget that you are in work with others in the room

If we are to beat Arsenal, we're still going to have to rely on them messing up at some point. As it's highly unlikely we'll win all of our games. But that's not too ridiculous, look at Arsenal 2-2 Swansea the other week.

We are still rank outsiders tbh. But I'm just happy we are in and amongst it still, and deservedly so. Beat them and win our game against palace and you never know though.

Agree that we're still definitely outsiders. It's great to keep the pressure on Arsenal though. A lot of their fans are annoyed and calling for Wenger's head, if the player's heads drop who knows they may drop a few points?

arsenals run in isn't that easy, 3 tough away games against us, hull and norwich on the last day, i know we have hull away on the last day but i'd fancy them to be safe by then, goes without saying though that it'll be game over if we dont win on sunday

They are a brittle team mentally, Arsenal. Ideally City would have trounced them this weekend to get them really jittery. But we have to beat them and win our game in hand and then match their results for as long as we can. It'll be no fun being hunted down by us and its a hell of a lot easier chasing a team for Everton than it is trying to fend off teams, I reckons.

[QUOTE="Do Benfica not ground share with Sunderland

Ok so let's put this another way, last four league visits 3 Draws 1 Defeat...

;) All irrelevant i know we are boss these days easy 0-4 victory awaits us.

Happy now:D][/QUOTE]

lol To be fair, our recent record isn't great like you said, it just felt like we beat them pretty much every time I went up there apart from last season. The cup game being as good as it was must have clouded my memory a bit!

Imagine us winning about 6 or 7 out of 8 though. Seems a bit too much and that is what we would have to do to clinch 4th. Can't wait for the game on Sunday though. Would love to get Arsenal back for the cup win. Was raging leaving the Emirates.

Hull could have a cup final to think about in May

It´s great that we are even talking about 4th , we have a real chance and we are on a roll. Winning has become habbit and believing you can get the win is half the battle . Lets just go for it .

To be fair I've just done a predictor and had Arsenal getting 3 wins, 2 draws, 1 loss and still finishing above us by 1 point.

They're gonna have to be really poor for us to finish above them.
