so maybe i'm sorely out of the loop, but i didn't even know it existed. i understand they aren't fifa sanctioned, but they've played some legitimate national teams in friendlies.

apparently our mikky played for them, as he's listed as one of their notable players, anyone know how many games or how he did? i'd also be curious about shabby across the parks performance for them

Catalunya also has a team, they played against Argentina at the Nou Camp whilst i was on holiday last year, found out the day after that a few had gone on the train, i wouldve gone tbh as Argentina had a strong team playing.

You said it yourself lad . They are not FIFA sanctioned . Thus , it'll never be taken seriously , and the two mersey based players , Etcheberria etc , take the Spanish route . Politics , kid .

Nah... Too busy winning more matches in Euro '08 qualifying and amassing more points than England managed!.

I think I also remember the Basque region played a friendly against Wales,
