What would be better, Beto’s head on Barry’s body or Barry’s head on Beto’s?

I am not sure that is in the medical teams remit, they struggle enough managing players with hamstring injuries.

If the current rumours seem to be Toney or Richarlison unfortunately I can't see our striker situation improving much in January. The club needs a long term strategy to plug this striker issue. Selling Cannon, selling Simms, selling Chermiti... How many young strikers are we going to sell without giving them a fair chance?? If we sell Sherif in the Summer I'll be fuming.

Cant force myself to vote for either of them tbh. Both should have been benched weeks ago and we should have been experimenting with others regardless of them not being strikers. The worst that could happen is they don't score which is a guaranteed outcome with 2 beauts anyway so what’s to lose.

Im back in the Beto camp, I just feel Barry has had his chance and its just not working.

We keep buying strikers with not one main attribute they’re good at. If get one who’s good at one thing, fast, strong, technical etc you can at least build a strategy around it.

But the strikers were signing aren’t good at any one thing. Awful

Neither of them is anywhere near Premier League level, but I’d still pick Beton every day of the week. At least he puts himself about and actually battles (even though that really should be the bare minimum). The striker situation is dire, but what scares me more is that it’s the same across the pitch if even one starter is missing. Yesterday was pure garbage in several other positions as well.

….the last thing I’d feel is sorry for two very ordinary footballers who find themselves in an extraordinary fortunate position. From a service perspective, they have two of the best wide players in the league aside them and KDH behind.

Sadly, neither is on the same wavelength as the talent they have alongside. Neither makes those little darts to get in front of CBs and make a little space in the box. Indeed, imagine if we had a half decent striker who could exploit the talent around him. Doesn’t have to be somebody great, just a good striker.
