Didn't the site win a couple of 'best unofficial football website' awards in the last few years?

Strikes me that as a club we can't be sh!tting on any aspect of the organisation, even be it affiliated with the fanbase rather than the business entity that is Everton, that is successful.

Mob justice ftw

cant we change the site name to blue kipper?
and cant our site owner also be in the pcoket of the club?
and can our forum administrators remove and edit threads and psots which show how useless our chairman and his staff are?
And can our administrators make up fake responses to news articles to look lke our readers are blindly pro kenwright?

ii dont understand it when the kenwright deniers come out and claim anyone who has ago at elstone is wrong.
Elstone leaves alot to be desired.
Poor PR, poor commerical contracts and poor fan relations.
He has been taught well by Bill.

Lol so now Kenwright schools his CEO in how to train underlings in the art of pissing off its fan base. Hilarious in its idiocy

Kenwright as chairman has set an arrogant approach to the fan groups treating them with contempt, his urchins feel free to carry it on.

Slavan - I'll remove your posts in this thread pal if you continue to try an push this to fit an agenda. This isn't Bill Kenwright mate, he knows nothing of this. Get your arse over to the Everton Board thread.

Was/is this not Sharpy's job...and I mean certain centre forward, not GOT Sharpy.

Apparently so. Such a shame, because if we had a genuine SLO, it would do wonders for the Club and the fans.

As part of the UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations, clubs across Europe will be required to appoint a Supporter Liaison Officer (SLO) before the beginning of the 2012/13 season.

Article 35 of the regulations, which covers the SLO, states as follows:

Article 35 - Supporter Liaison Officer

1. The licence applicant must have appointed a liaison officer to act as a key contact point for supporters.

2. The supporter liaison officer must regularly attend meetings with the club’s management and must collaborate with the security officer on safety and security-related matters.

13:14 - According to UEFA, a key objective of the liaison officer clause, Article 35 of the 2010 UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations, is to achieve transparency and improved communications between the parties involved.

UEFA go on to say that the evidence shows that if fans have a say in the way they are treated, they will behave better, whereas exclusion and repression demonstrably do not work very well. They believe that liaison officers can help enable supporters to become more responsible partners and also improve the quality and utility of the dialogue.

12:38 - Graeme was invited in his capacity as Everton’s appointed fans liaison officer, a position that is a requirement of the UEFA club licensing platform, a position that centres on improving communication and providing a focal point for supporters to organise themselves better and make their voice heard. Unfortunately, prior engagements and conflicting appointments mean Graeme would not attend.

I posed this question to the Club in October 2011;

7. It’s not uncommon for Clubs to appoint a number of Supporter Liaison Officers. QPR recently had several amongst their travelling contingent to Goodison Park. Everton currently have one - Everton Legend Graeme Sharp. ‘Sharpy’ is an Everton legend first, a media representative second and a supporter liaison officer a distant third. In the Clubs renewed endeavours to improve fan relations - could Everton consider appointing others who on the surface are considered more approachable?

You know who would be brilliant for it but is probably not interested at this point in time...

**When I say "it" I mean the post of Fans' Liaison Officer.**

Thinking about it, this might actually be the man to make a heartfelt plea to...if anything, just to get a straight answer. At least you (well, I do anyhow) feel you'd get a straight answer and that's what we're mainly after here right now.

Any supporter liason officer should be one of the fans. Dan would make a better candidate than either Ferguson or Sharp as neither of them have any idea what it's like being an average fan, and have no regular contact with fans.

Dan meanwhile is pretty representative of the modern fan, and has access to a huge chunk of the fanbase on a daily basis.

That's why it's such madness that the club insist on keeping this place at arms length. They should be doing all they can to learn from places like this.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. Think Bill is genuine but his hands are not only tied from above, but he has some serious cretins charged with running the club from below. Almost makes you want to apply for a job at Everton yourself, when you know you could do 10x a better job. I don't think Kenwright would be happy with any of this ****.

Duncan will be a manager of players, not a go between with fans, the position that Vellios was in yesterday to help it on to Jelavic is something that Duncan would have been involved in.

Hopefully after a weekend of this being thrown around the internet there will be something done to resolve the issue, as I've said, AB is there to watch the football, the match reports are just a by product of what he has seen and wishes to share with other Evertonians. There are a great many fans that would walk over broken glass for the club, why didn't they give him the option of writing a report up for the O.S. ? or even just to document it for the club ?

Hopefully someone will email him some match details and he can put together a report for a game he isn't allowed to watch ? OPEN DEFIANCE that they wouldn't be able to do anything about really.

Chico's card has well been marked as well with his previews, notice how he's been letting others do them over the last few weeks.

As for Danny, well we can expect him to be tied and bound to a chair, lured to a flat on City Rd to do a Blue Rinse then waterboarded for the passwords to the servers. There's only his 'friendship' with Herbie that can save him really.

A thousand members of GOT need to write 1000 letters to Kenwright and copies to Moyes as to why Everton need to drop the title 'Peoples Club' title over this affair, change their stance.

We need leaflets at the next home game outlining what has gone on and make other Everton fans aware of what the club has done.

We need to take this to local and national press and radio, and a letter to the MP.

Let's show the morons who run our club where we stand.

Even if nothing changes, give them a bad few weeks.

TBF mate, not sure if anyonehas mentioned it, but we cant use that title any more anyway, Not since the treasurer (sic) of KEIOC copyrighted it.
