Ban the RS from Europe

They even announced the bus route on Radio Merseyside, all of this after City raised concerns over their saftey due to threats made online.

who knows how much the experience of having hundreds of fans trying to get at you on your bus affected the city players last night, they were unrecognisable from the team that destroyed us on Saturday. Fearing for your life only a hour earlier can do that to a person
They were the same team that destroyed us. We are just not very good :(

I’d be reluctant to shout for this because they’d just ban all English clubs again.

Sad but probable.

To be fair Groucho, it was Thatcher who demanded all English clubs be banned as a result of Heysel.

UEFA could and should have stood their ground on allowing us, Norwich and others to compete - and just banned the RS.

Our visit to Rotterdam went off with only a minor incidents and from memory, what silliness there was was mostly in Amsterdam well after the game had ended.

Seriously??????

Lets all calm down a second!

1 minute we were all laughing at them for having pink pyro, sparklers & party poppers

The next minute they ambushed the bus and pushed it over similar to the watts riots in 92

A few idiots threw a few bottles, West Ham did it a year or 2 back and the united players were on the bus laughing there heads off, lingard filmed it.
If they got intimidated and put off by that, its more on them, not the liverpool fans.

Im not condoning it, or saying its right, but it will be a fine and a warning, nothing more, nothing less. And that should be about right.

We can barely talk can we? One of ours tried to punch a Lyon player while holding his kid!

Of course not seriously. Does not mean we shouldn't highlight their knobishness in a week of anticipated horror for us.

Correct, to ignore their behaviour is to in effect condone it.
The authorities need to act to prevent this kind of stupidity and dangerous behaviour from re-occurring, but we all know they'll get a token slap on the wrist and that'll be the end of it.
And LFC say they'll track down and deal with the culprits - don't hold yer breath on that either.
