Ferdinand has been important for united but I am a bit surprised . I've seen someone question de gea , I think he's improved massively this year especially with the physical side .

everton's smallest ever player. was never in doubt really, suppose evra has had a great season as well, but not close. Think we can say we're unlucky not to have jags and fellaini in there if ferdinand and carrick got there.

how carrick got in ahead of michu though. still think hazard's been a bit meh for his price tag. would have had cech over de gea as well. suppose united won the league and having just van persie in there would have been odd

To be fair Ferdinand's had a boss season, never really thought he was all that but watched him a fair bit this year and he has been worthy to be in there.

Agree with you there, Ferdinand has had a better season than most people think. Can't think of many other CB's who have played better this season.

i don't know that rio ferdinand i only know the rio ferdinand who 'refused to play for england and accused england fans of being racist towards him when there was no proof or evidence to suggest that his allegations were true, yet he accused john terry of being racist towards his brother and john terry was cleared of being a racist in a court of law' thats the only ferdinand i know.
