How this is even a story seems to be a failure of leadership from Martinez and the veterans on the team including our skipper Jagielka and Bainesy himself.
Ridiculous overall, Martinez and the players need to sort this cant have players faffing around trying to give each other confidence, best penalty taker should take it end of - its not a sunday league game - there getting 60k + a week to win matches on a weekend.

It's like when I used to play footy with my mates, or even in PE at school, where it was an unspoken rule that whoever got fouled for the penalty was allowed to take it!
Shouldn't work like that in the Premier League, FFS!! Needs more leadership from the manager, and from the senior pros.
I agree that Baines has no back bone, and is just avoiding confrontation.
I also agree that Lukaku doesn't convince me with pens, although you can't argue with 5 out of 5. Am willing to let him carry on until he misses one, which looks like it can be at any stage.
God knows what happens then!! Will Baines step up again, or will we end up with another free for all??!!

People whining rom doesnt look convincing, did yous see the last few of baines, they were ropey as hell.
As long as rom slots them which hes been doing im sound with it. Whens hes not on the pitch, baines needs to show some balls and take the ball for himself so he can take them

If Lukaku is on penalties fair enough but after that it should be Baines. One off penalty takers always worry me as there is more pressure when not a regular.
