In the Times today, Peter Walton says the Arsenal penalty was correctly overturned because Nick Pope “ got the last touch in a successful attempt to play the ball, making the subsequent collision irrelevant” . Bit different when Tarkowski got the ball before colliding with MacAllister. Everyone was adamant it should have been a straight red card. The inconsistency is absurd

Poor ref. Missed loads of little nudges / fouls that could have been costly.
Ridiculous decision to book KDH.
VAR called upon for Mavraponos hand ball but no pen as deemed natural position / proximity.
Case to be made for sending off for a cynical fould on KDH when he burst into their box.
Tarks a bit fortunate to escape 2nd yellow for a couple of silly incidents after he'd already been booked.
Draw probably a fair result.

It's always been a reoccurring theme of ref's making appalling calls at our expense but I've never seen it so rampant and consistent there's a slew of crap decisions every game against us

Not a major gripe but thought Füllkrug should have got a yellow for his dive, and that lad should have got his 1st yellow for bringing Grealish down from behind.

….don’t think you can appeal a yellow. I wondered if the booking was for the reaction to the foul rather than the foul itself. If it was for the ‘foul’ it was a shocking decision.
