It's certainly more treatable now than it ever has been, especially with HAART treatments, and using those drugs life expectancy is increased by about twenty years.

BUT

It's still something that will kill you before your time, and the treatment can have some side effects. Yes it's better to have it now than thirty years ago, but it's still something to swerve.
