Umbro are meant to be a big improvement on Nike everyone says, I don't really see how when the Umbro kits cost MORE than Nike's did and the kits get released just as late. If I was picking holes you could also argue a lot of the Umbro gear is inferior to what Nike produced for us. The Nike heritage gear with the 80s badge was boss, I don't see how the Umbro gear currently on the Everton direct website is as nice as this. Just my opinions, I'm sure I'll be accused of working for Nike or something as I am everytime I say anything negative about Umbro

You've made a fool of yourself enough over this whole Umbro deal, give it a rest.

They've given us better kits than Nike and we're getting more money from the deal. The kits are being released in the same timeframe as the ones from Nike were.

Your only half decent point is about the retro stuff, but Campo Retro has superior options there anyway so it's a moot point.

Everton weren't really an asset to Nike, half of the downstairs in EvertonTwo was devoted to selling their generic boots - half the price over the bridge in Sports Direct - and they were almost certainly involved in the badge debacle. Everton are very important to the new Umbro business and they've given us a brilliant kit that is IMO the best home strip in the league.

I can't see much to fret about.

I agree. Nike could have done better. But Umbro are just lazy with there design. The black kit looks quite good though.

I asked about the Europa Printing today & they hadn't a clue, said its same as far as they knew.

They were cutting letters out of Jelavic as well to make up names.

If the 'creases' that have appeared in the numbers after they folded them and put them in the bag don't come out then I'm afraid I shall be expecting replacements at that price. almost look like bubbles.
