Neiler

Player Valuation: £100m
Forget not having a cutting edge, we have a player currently on the sidelines who has proven he can score 20 goals a season, Saha and Beckford have had their chances, its Yak time. By far our best striker for me, and if he stays im not that bothered about bringing anyone else in up front.

Hes perfect for us and in many ways exactley what we are missing, you can keep your Crouchs etc.

Step backwards, there is a good reason he is not playing Unfit, injured. or Leaving.

1) We need him back up front.

2) If we're selling him, it better be fast so we have enough time to bring in Donovan.

You cant get away from it, he scores goals, he also creates, from what ive seen from the backend of last season to this there is no one else in the squad to touch him.

Its Yak time, sort it out Davey.

He's fell out with us , mate .

Whether its right or wrong , its a fact .

Thus , est ist schon vorbei .

He'd fit into the system we're playing perfectly. Beckford couldn't take any good touches, passed quite woefully and wasn't played to his strengths... running through on goal. Saha was much better today, but I still think Yak could do better. He is a strong mother ****er, he'll hold it up well, he can pass the ball decently and don't forget he's quite a clever player as well. He is built for 4-5-1 and Saha can be 2nd choice to him. If we go 4-4-2 then Saha and Beckford could be given a go.

Today when Saha was up front was the first time we really looked threatening in the final third. Yak's not going anywhere unless we can replace him with someone else and I don't see what type of striker we'd go for and who could be better than the Yak. We need lots of strikers and lots of options. Clearly Yaks the man for the business.

Bring back Yak

I wouldnt doubht it mate, im not buying these niggleing injuries and bouts of illness, like i say i tink hes been tapped up to.

If he is here after Tues, i think he needs to play, hes our best.

To be honest when i look around at what could be available even with sponds in selling him im not overly impressed.

thats what i ment just never been the writer type! good post mate!

Cabbie, would this partly explain Pienaar...

They ARE tight . An' Yobo an' all , tbh . A veritable Africa from Africa , but I think Peanut is more Agent orientated - an' if you heard some of his demands , if you're anything like me , you'd say , the door is that way , lid . I like Peanut an' all .

The upshot being , we are unsure what will happen and are in an utterly reactive situation , the last place we want to be at this time of the season .
