Unfortunately I really wanted him here, but even if he is playing a dangerous game here trying to get a better deal with us - multiple people saying his agent where still negotiating with us on Friday, i think its time to pull the plug call his bluff and move on.

And move on quick. We should have told him 2 weeks ago we where moving on if he wasn't accepting our offer.
