We need someone dynamic imo, Tom Davies might be that kid in time who knows.

We look absolutely dire in midfield though as things stand.

we are if we sign him Bry. I don't think we will sign him and if we do we are his last resort.

I don't mind paying 25m with 12 months left if he's the right type of player. Maybe he is. Not sure myself. I'd pay 50m for a player with 1 year left if it was a player we get 5-6 years service from.

if he comes he'd be an improvement on what we currently have.

in the grand scheme of things I don't care how much he costs. He's a £25mil player in today's market.

We'll (as fans) just have to wait and see I suppose. If this deal didn't have a chance of happening the club would have moved on already - and I'm sure there will be alternative players lined up anyway.
