Like Witsel or not (and i do like him though i might have liked Schneiderlin more....) as an Everton supporter this has to make you happy. It is truly a positive step that coming on the heels of bringing in Koeman can only be viewed as a strong signal that we are a club moving in a new, upward direction.

Just made up about the possibilities.

Also, and i know i speak for everybody, when i offer a sincere thanks to @The Esk for keeping us sane (and probably helping our collective blood pressure - and possibly lowering our alcohol intake*).

*the benefits and veracity of that last bit may be debatable....
