the start we have made to the season is disgraceful!! i feel its being swept under the carpet somewhat.

we now need a win against bolton. we have 11 poins so far this season from 8 games, looking at our fixture list we should have had a lot more points on the board. we've dropped points against burnley, fulham, stoke and wolves which is not good enough for a team with aspirations of european football.

we are not out of touch from the top 6 yet as they have played better teams. i fear that when we do come up against spurs, city, sunderland and the remainder of the top for we wil drop more points than we will gain - therefore finish the season in mid table.

too much is being made of injuries, we should still have enough to beat the teams mentioned above, especially at home.

lets hope it turns around with a hard fought victory against bolton

Better start than last year (we had 8 points compared to the present 11) I know that stat is nothing to crow about but a poor start is not unusual. It’s the injury list that’s really depressing

Here lies the problem.

This time last year we were losing , but playing better football.
Also, we did not have these injuries.
However, I still expected better from those who have pulled on the shirt.

Last year we had played Arsenal, United, and Liverpool in our first 9 games.

Where we really?

Last year we were crap. NO two ways about it.

We started this season playing better than last season. With Pienaar gone, we are just godawful.:(

Is our whole team hypercondriacs???
footie is a tough game? where are all our players eh?

I remember the bad challenge on Anichebe, Arteta twisting his knee in the battle and the same with Jags...

anything else anyone can remember??????

heres a good one....when players don't play...do they get sick pay?
coz technically they are frigging sick if they are not pulling on the blue shirt or keeping the bench warm.

Either way you look at it, neither is great. It's more a level of how dire can it be.
The last 4 or 5 games has seen a sustained poor quality run with no sign of improvement.
Before his injury, Pienaar was the only spark. I do agree with that.
IMO the godawfulness that has followed is worse than last seasons.

Last year, we had 'that tackle' as a catalyst. I dunno, maybe I'm just happy being miserable. Sorry for the paradox.

My missus cheered when Wolves scored becase she liked the colour of he kit. She was eating nutella at the time.
I told her she's 3lbs away from being single

the injuries have been the thing.. nevertheless its really exposed the shallowness of our squad.. as soon as a few are out we're calling up da yoof.

just read that hughes is saying not nice things about micah richards. would like to see us go for him.. have a sense moyes could do a decent re-hab job on him .
