Away trips to decide our fate?

I'm optimistic for all of them aways tbh.
Mirallas and Gibson back and a fully fit and ready squad i see no reason to worry.

The sh*te truly are looking abysmal and don't let Gerrard and Rodgers' bollocks in the press or MOTD on how well they play, they don't, they're sh*te.
And I can see us doing United, came close last season and there due a loss soonish as they can't just run away with the title, they won't keep up that gap! If we go for them again I reckon we'll do them.

As for the other ones at Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal 4pts would be good, but I want a win at Arsenal the most!

think we'll finally beat the RS at klanfield this season, not being naiive either. think a win at the emirates is not beyond the realms of possibility either. draws at WHL and emirates would be pretty good for 4th though - avoid defeat against both this season in the process

United go to Madrid a few days later that may work in our advantage.

I agree, their strikers are winning them the title this season, we've conceded less then them also.
We're capable of beating them but our CBs will have to be at the top of their game, here's hoping they will play a weakened team.

Phil Neville made a good statement after the Cup game, we have got one game a week for the rest of the season not including the Cup.
Therefore I dont think we will muck it up like Spurs did last year as we should be fresher as these "tricky" away games the majority if not all are still in european competitions. We will be ok, however I watched a documentary earlier about Brian Clough it was brilliant and one of the many many things he said was "great teams keep clean sheets" got me thinking about our current team....

We are well overdue wins at Anfield and Old Trafford so just got a feeling that we'll win at both (Nurse!!!)
Draws at Tottenham and Arsenal would be OK.
Chelsea away will be our second cup final in eight days

With all due respect to Brian clough who was ace!!.....

Modern football is very different to his time. Scoring goals win you football matches these days not keeping clean sheets. (Look at utd). With the quality players at the top end of the pitch and the way teams set up now you can't go for keep it tight at the back and nick a goal. (Not on a regular basis anyway)

Our more expansive football has made us more vulnerable at the back this season. Not that we shouldn't work on it and try and tighten up at bit more but it's not just us all the top teams are leaking goals.
