Away allocation at bmd

Be difficult to give unsold allcation to Everton supporters as the whole section is served by a single concourse level.

There appears to be two sets of entrances to the away supporters section; the lower level vomitories on Level 01(away supporters concourse), and a further set of entrances at the rear of the section on Level 02, which gives access to the main upper concourse that wraps around the stadium. These additional Level 02 entrances are shown on the official stadium map.

This would give the club the flexibility to sell any unsold away tickets to Everton supporters by using a different entrance. Quite a clever design really.

Good spot. I suppose as long as you don't sell the seats around the away vomitories and first couple of rows, it might be okay. Would imagine there could be trouble if you have away fans walking right under home fans go for a slash etc.

A better design would have been to have the entrances to the away section just in front of the accessible seating platform. Although that would make it harder for them to get to the upper part of the lower tier when clubs use the full allocation.

It's our understanding that the away section at Bramley Moore can be split into two halves (as per Goodison) and that, on these occasions, the home fans will have to access and egress from the adjacent home sections. So, occasionally additional tickets may be available to the home fans.

However, given the attraction of the new stadium (and with away tickets priced at only £30), it'll be doubtful if many clubs will not take up their full ~3,000 allocation for several seasons to come.

I just don't see any physical barrier should the upper tier section be taken by away fans. Blocks 226+227 are home, I think thereafter (228 etc) could be away...so it looks like access on the same concourse. Can only think there might be either a wall of steward's.
