roger milla, where's your hotel in vienna do you know the adress, I can do some research and tell you If its a good or bad one.
alan here you go : *myemail*

Hotel Atlanta mate.

If others are stayin in Bratislava also it'd be good to designate a non tourist trap 'local' for us I reckon.

I take it we'll be congregating in the main sq in vienna.

okay mate, Vienna is divided into 23 districts, and your hotel is in the 9th, its next to the first district, the City's centre. So it's a good choice, you won't be in a ghetto or something like that haha
I don't know how it's from inside but I think there are plenty reports on the net :-D

I'm driving from my base in Essex. Always fancied a bit of a road trip and the autobaun in Germany. 13 hours and nearly 1000 miles should bring its fair share of experiences with my 'arl fella (62) and sons (21 and 15). Anyone with any local knowledge of good and reasonably priced hotels would be most welcome. Its Roberto's first game too, so gonna do it, providing we get tickets as I understand the ground only holds 13000.

Thanks for that, it looks very old fashioned inside but we only plan to sleep in it. Is it near many bars/pubs/clubs at all?

I'd like to call Austria and to book tickets for you guys, but the problem is I don't know how many will come :-/
I'll keep you up to date as good as possible, I hope someone can talk with these hans tours guys or whatever their name is, and give me some informations.
roger mate, I think Vienna, especially Austria isn't really a pub country, I mean we have some here but you can't compare it to England. There are some normal bars around but they're quite expensive in that quarter of Vienna :-/

Got the name of any areas of the town centre with more reasonable priced bars?

There is a area in Vienna called the 'Bermuda Triangle' that has loads of bars apparently.

Me and 3 others are there on the Saturday and Sunday night. We could do with a bar to all meet up in etc.

hahaha I can feel a super blue p!ss up on the horizon, it's gonna be fkn boss

a few sherbets in the city of schubert ??? hahah why not

TOFFEES ON TOUR TOFFEES ON TOUR

wish I was going

I will be there mate, providing we get four tickets. I am a STH with over 8 credits as is my son but I need 2 on top.

If I don't get a ticket I'll just go in the home end or stay drinking in the sun. Don't see it being an issue getting one.

I rang the club today and they said that EFC won't be selling tickets and you need to go through the home team who said they will be selling tickets for the AWAY end. I've checked the Austria Vienna website and they are having a few problems laying the new pitch and no news on tickets for our match. I also checked last seasons attendances and I don't think we need worry, average was about 8500. So, its Ooooooohhhhhhhh Vienna for me. Sorry, couldn't resist that.
