Transfer Rumour Aubameyang

You have spoken a lot about players leaving mate but not even mentioned Dembele. Why's that?. Supposedly one of the best young strikers in world football and sold for nearly a £100m.

why? No one asked ;) Not sure what it is I am supposed to say, my opinion on him leaving you mean?
I think Dembele was a unique situation brought about by the unique transfer of Naymar. Otherwise he'd not have been going anywhere last summer cos no one else would have been paying 100m for him. And different to the players we lost over the last 5 years or so, he had only been at the club a very short time, so wasn't really ingrained in the club's history.

I loved watching him of course, he has the potential to be a great, but didn't have the same sort of attachment to him as for players like Lewa, Götze, Sahin, Kagawa, Gundogan and Hummels, players who played such huge parts in a big phase of Dortmund history. And really, I can't blame the club for taking that sort of money, added to the fact he behaved like he did made the situation untenable.

Sorry mate yeah. You were asked a question about how you (Dortmund fans) felt about all these players leaving, and I thought it strange you didn't mention Dembele which, to an outsider, was probably the most high profile.

Slightly different as the Chinese club would have paid him about £500,000 a week after tax

I don’t think they can pay him that much. Chinese clubs have strict financial rules to adhere ever since the communist start curbing the cash splash.

ah right got you now! It was just a really unique situation really. Not often a club sign a player for about 13 million, then find yourself in the situation that a club will pay 100 million for him less than a year later.

But from a fan perspective, it was simply cos he was there for such a short amount of time, and forming real attachments in that time is impossible for me! It was almost like he was on loan with us it was that short! Whereas the other players that left pretty much grew up in the team over a number of years. And those teams where a really close group, so it did have more of an affect for fans and the team itself when they left.

I think that relates only to transfer fees. If they sign an overseas player for more than €6m then they have to pay the state the same amount to go into a football fund to develop the game in China. They can still pay the players whatever they want in wages.
