I can't fathom why anyone would want to come to us when even our fans cant be bothered to big us up.

It is probably unlikely but, the Premier League (ie the wages) is a big draw, the other top clubs already have top quality strikers and not everyone is only bothered about playing for the "big clubs".

Which leaves the also rans. Out of them we have the ability to pay high wages and a high transfer fee so there is a small chance it could happen.

Dream a little.
 
As insane as it seems if he was willing to go to China for big money then him coming here, if we offered him a stonking wedge of cash, isn't that crazy.

Obviously not going to happen though. Another Mata, Witsel etc.

Looks the type to do a Muller/ Ravanelli on us.
 
If the fee is 60mil then I think there are better options available...29 is really dangerous, he could nosedive.

On the other hand, it would put our name up in lights and attract other high profile signings...

Id rather Belotti as an example...

Not scored many in the league but he's been a bit of a Diego Costa holding the ball etc

Generally been good....60mil could land him I think as were not an Italian club,

I knew he’d scored a lot of goals last season, but haven’t heard him mentioned much this season
