atmosphere at Goodison is awful.

John Aldridge was on the long running BBC show " Songs of praise " talking about his favourite hymns when he said " You could do groans of praise at Goodison, they don't song anymore because they are so bitter. Its like rattling a mute whore, no sound at all "
Hate the way the BBC are giving him so much air time lately.

Was he talking about that Sally Magnusson when he was talking about rattling a mute whore?;)

Anyone else noticed this? The kick off used to be greeted with a roar of encouragement and excitement.Even when we get a corner there is no anticipation or the traditional EVERTON.....EVERTON chant . listening on radio yesterday you would think there was nobody there.is it that there is just too many decent sorts there and a lack of the bulk support of the scouse male like in the old days or is it just apathy due to lack of success?
You been to the Emirates lately? :D

We do when we can be arsed.

You never sat in the Gwladys I take it lid?

Although I will concede the scruffy part...

Nope, but I've stood in there on many occasion. Much prefer my bovril up in the Top Balcony now!

What they should do is move the away section to the other end of the Bullens next to the Gwladys. That would increase the atmosphere 10 fold imo.

Might have to hire a few extra stewards mind!

i think we should let aldo pick three songs for us to run out to

the crowd will then be so fired up with venom and bile at his selections (no doubt antagonistic filth) that we will sing for 90 hate-filled minutes

SONGS OF PRAISE THAT, YOU BIG NOSED NOB GOBBLER
