atmosphere at Goodison is awful.

I actually thought the villa fans where quite quiet yesterday the odd gay chat like that sign on one everybody sings. Do villa actually have their own songs or just the generic wool songs 90% of away fans sing?

You must have misheard mate, they sing 'November Rain'- length epic about Juan Pablo Angel loads as they are the footballing equivalent of the Vienesse Boys Choir

The main reason away fans are noisier is because awaydays usually involve a lit more ale. We should open the concourse early and sell pints for a pound.

Blatant Kopite posting...however it's a problem most premiership teams have. Lots of Fans are being priced out but that's a different topic.

This thread is pretty pointless, we all know its not bouncing for every game.

Atmosphere for bigger games is brilliant, the best atmosphere in years was the 3-0 to Arsenal only 6 months ago.

Given the performance and occasion we do excel ourselves.

But it seems you intend doing so anyway.

I call them .

What they were not was "designated singing areas".

Now, I suggest you heed your own inner voices and stop behaving like Buttons in that pantomime you were talking about.

Just accept that some people have a different opinion to you on this matter and it is no big deal to either party and it doesn't need to be debated to death.

;)

Then that is what everyone is talking about re singing sections they actually mean "sections of the ground at the back of the St. End where the singing came from.....sometimes".

Everyone knew back then that if you wanted to sing you went to that area, so in everyone heads it was designated. That was the place to go.

There's an obvious disagreement and miscommunication on definitions and titles of what a singing section is. Everyone in favour of a singing section meant the above. Everyone against had in mind something completely different in mind.

So yes it does need to be debated because there's a lack of understanding that is preventing things happening and obviously annoying people..

People say that atmosphere just happens. It doesn't, people always made it happen. All the great atmospheres and you'll notice that it is the same people over and over doing their bit. Some games you'll have great atmospheres that only stay in that one section of the ground too.

A final thing, I don't get your personal put down slants? I was trying to have a straight debate with you. The panto sentence was a lighted hearted joke as I could sense the possibility of it going down that route. It seemed obvious to me that this is really a problem in definitions, in labels, in intentions of what fans want. Some still do have that mentality of having a good session down County Road and then singing their heart out to encourage the team. They can't do that if they turn up at the match and there's a family in between them and their secondary mates who they were just having a pint with.

Our DNA is diametrically opposed to the lovables. It just is.

The more they wave banners and sing songs on their specialeuropenannights, line Anfield Road to welcome their all (non) conquering heroes, and converge on Liverpool pubs to experiencetheliverpoolmatchday, the more likely we will sit on our hands, moodily grumble, and chunter away.

But when we are roused? Nowhere finer. Nowhere. Ask pretty much anyone.

Everton are the tits, who's arsed?

Away fans, bells and kopites. That's who's arsed.

Go the game and watch the footie and do what seems right at the moment. I'd hate to follow a team full of scruffy fans like Villa or try too hards like Southampton.

Were Everton. We've been around at the top long enough to know how to behave, let them copy us and in the meantime make utter tubes out of themselves.

I always sing loads at away games, hardly sing at all at home.

It's just the way it is innit blud.

True that. I have seen Everton at more away games than at home, including Wembley, (which is different anyrate), and the support has always been a noisy mass of blues.
