atmosphere at Goodison is awful.

The days have gone now when people sing all the time, the tickets are expensive which doesn't leave much change for a few drinks to be merry. People now fume instead.

I'm as keen on a good recorder ensemble or madrigal group as the next fellow, as long as the music is spontaneous ... flowing from the heart like a silver river of musical fish newly liberated from the breadcrumb factory.

Really not keen on the Matchday Experience type of atmosphere.

(And the atmosphere could be poor way back when as well.)

At least its not as bad as in Australia.... I went to a few games where they have to play fans applauding and chanting their club name through the tannoy system

I miss those days when we were boss at singing

Like against Wimbledon.... And Coventry... And errr...

Other factors.

The average age of supporters is higher than it was......older blokes aren't as inclined to sing at a football game.

Then there is the fact everyone us seated.....there is no doubt one us more inclined to sing and chant when one can bob up and down at the same time, the way we used to do on the terraces.
