The youth of today are a disgrace. Too busy watching Eastenders to come to the ground and sing. You see them all with their big phones pretending they're Dom Joly. Makes me sick. Should never have put in cubicles, made them all think they're better than they are.

Reminds me of a few years ago when Norwich lost 7-0 at Man City and a canarie said about how good the Norwich fans were cause they were still singing even when 7-0 down.

Stuff that, god know where the idea that to be a good fan you have to sing stupid songs when your team are getting thrashed came from.

Or just singing stupid dumb generic "banter" songs at any point in the game.

Just makes you look like a tit rather than someone who actually cares about the game.

It's desperate times as Norris Green Blue says. It's fortunate he joined up in September 2014 to tell us.

In the 70s our fans used to sing "We only sing when we're losing".

Today they sing "We only sing when we're winning".

I can't relate to todays home fans anymore, I think they're Sky whoppers who know nothing of our past and full of pathetic excuses why as not to sing, they may as well turn up with big foam fingers.

At least our away fans are finally getting it together, we need an Everton away section in the home end. Fans who know that you sing to get behind the team, get behind them when they need it, ie when they're losing, drawing, hanging on for a win. ie support the team.

Always disappointed with atmosphere at goodison particurly when games are quiet on the pitch. I sit beside away fans in park end when over n does my head in we cant match them without having a goal to cheer. Mad coz our away fans ate best around. Younger fans in street end seem more up for it when iv been there.
