I think people who sing should have a reduced entry fee. It'd encourage others to do the same and the atmosphere would improve.

This ^ I've been at games where its completely bouncing then get home an watch a re run on the tv and it sounds sh1te. Don't slag off the atmosphere if you aren't even there. The hilarity of this thread is the majority of people moaning are saying they watch the games on TV. No way you can get a feel of atmosphere from TV.
Err no, that's not what i'm saying. I'm slagging the atmosphere as a whole recently, although Saturday was crap, you didn't have to be there to notice it mate. And I said nearer the GS not in it. Park End is dead, would get more back and forth if the away fans where closer to GS (know the reason it isn't done)
Regarding me not being there, pretty hard from 6k miles away these days. Don't make out I have never been a game though, went home and away for years.

"if the aways fans were put the Gwladys st end"
no mate thats exactly what you said.

sounds to me like he meant the bullens but nearer to the street end.
In the 70s our fans used to sing "We only sing when we're losing".
Today they sing "We only sing when we're winning".
I can't relate to todays home fans anymore, I think they're Sky whoppers who know nothing of our past and full of pathetic excuses why as not to sing, they may as well turn up with big foam fingers.
At least our away fans are finally getting it together, we need an Everton away section in the home end. Fans who know that you sing to get behind the team, get behind them when they need it, ie when they're losing, drawing, hanging on for a win. ie support the team.
When the Park End Stand was first opened it was more vocal than the St End. Then the club commandeered the centre block for hospitality purposes and it went downhill from there.I sit in the park end an if you even try and chant you get looked at like you've taken some unsuspecting children hostage.
I does affect the teams performance as we showed away at WBA. As soon as the crowd piped up big kev banged it in the net.
Really wish there was a better atmosphere at goodison
Worst I've heard Goodison for a long while last night.

Oh yeah the performance was absolutely dreadful, but I think the team could have done with a bit more backing than what they got.Yes it was, but the performance was utter tosh against an utter tosh team with no fans. To be expected, no?
Correct.Too busy groaning and booing to sing? (I wasn't there but it is sounded like that from my sofa)
