I think a wee bit of tiredness/imbalance set in at the end there after all of the subs had been made.. although that was another daft goal to concede when we'd been in relative control throughout.

That being said - another really encouraging performance and a second win on the bounce. If we can start making a proper habit of this we'll be just fine.

Easy to be sniffy about the league Cup but these lot did us 4-0 a few weeks ago and put out a strong team tonight. The score line flattered them in the end. Need to keep this momentum going.

Such a weird choice, they had no response to the gameplan we started with and we let them back in on us with the substitutions

I guess it's just natural to do that when you're protecting a one goal lead, but it was so frustrating when we'd played so well. Got to show more character on the ball in these circumstances.

the linesman shouldn't have flagged because it was very tight, should have let the play continue and then let VAR review it if Beto had scored but linesman literally flagged within a second of the pass being made to beto so the ref stopped the game

replays showed it was tight but beto was just on
