Ahead of his sentencing, Biggs apologized for his actions as he faced Kelly, choking up as he spoke about his daughter whom he said was a sexual assault victim who needs him.

“I was seduced by the crowd, and I just moved forward. My curiosity got the better of me,” said Biggs. “I’m not a terrorist. I don’t have hate in my heart.”

Should have had his sentence doubled for trying to pull this kind of stunt

I am a bit worried about this to be honest. Not because the majority of people find Trump abhorrent--they generally do, though by a puzzlingly slim majority. I am worried because of all the voter fraud, intimidation, disenfranchisement, electoral college "majorities", cheating on the part of crazed Republicans who have no interest in democracy, and whatever other factors (rain, work, heat, lack of transport, personal problems, etc.) that prevents people from voting.

Double up this traitor/racist's sentence. Send a message. His daughter will be much better off growing up w/out a racist dad. [Poor language removed] him.

As a left winger, you don’t get many wins these days but:

Speaking about the Capitol Hill riot, Tarrio says: "I again chose not to be the voice of reason. I regret my words."

Earlier during today's sentencing, a judge criticised Tarrio for having referred to a convicted Proud Boys rioter as similar to one of America's Founding Fathers.

"There's no comparing anyone who was there, or myself, to George Washington or any of the Founding Fathers," he says.
