He also made some poor decisions during the game, including how he dealt with the ball that led to his signing off.
You would expect that good decisions would help offset his lack of pace but that certainly didn't happen.

Yeah he should have headed if and not tried to control it. Unfortunately the reactions and instant decision making abilities also begin to wane as you approach 40.
 

Warrior. Only on for 20 minutes, but at no point did he give up on his dream of achieving the record of most sending offs in a season.

I’m sure he’ll get another chance at the weekend
 
Dyche bringing on Dixon to quell the Young boos was elite hunger games esque tactics disguised as man management

Let the two battle it out in front of the baying fans
 

What was the point? Just watching a professional cling on for dear life for every last scrap of prem footy he can get and dyche is giving him it
