I’m amazed after that performance today that people again think Ashley Williams is the most deserving Everton player of Stick .

Imagine if he’d been on the field as arsenal strolled through us without a care in the world for those last two goals this thread would be insane but he wasn’t . As I’ve said before I’m not even a fan but plenty more players out there today deserving a lot more stick.

I thought he was absolutely fine today. Totally understand why he was taken off because they would have ensures he got another yellow. Going on past 2 games he's been our best defender by an absolute mile ( isn't saying much like lol )

Mate that’s exactly what me and the lads I was with we’re saying afterwards. When he deserves it I’ll give him stick but how he’s the one that people want hammer after watching that , I can’t work out .

Wtf was that. F bin him off. Within 5 minutes he launches a ball to the corner flag, nobody within 30 yards. Then he gives away a 5 yard pass and Sheppard's a Chelsea player inside towards our goal. Fantastic stuff ash. Plus the goal. Gtf
 

Release him on a free. Honestly. The cost of doing so would remove the temptation of thinking "maybe he won't be a massive pile of emu manure - after all, he is a full international and experienced Premier League player..." - and therefore save us having to watch him cost us at least one goal almost literally every single game he plays.
