Played well I thought and dealt with pretty much everything that came his way. The Mitrovic goal he was basically 2 on 1 so wouldn't blame him for that as he had to stick with the other fella.

Vocal leader too apparently according to some.

The Wales captain has emerged as a leading target for the new Everton manager, Ronald Koeman, and director of football, Steve Walsh, and a deal between all parties is believed to have been agreed in principle. < That is your problem in a nutshell..

I heard he'd sorted the defence out too. :coffee:

Not that bad, hes the only 1 trying to defend when theres about 20 Welsh players in the box.

Was thinking that, where's the right back? Yeah, he went to the ball and then to ground but there was nobody close to him helping watch that run from Mitrovic.

TBF, I wanted him here. I thought he'd be a great buy and exactly what we required.

That was a massive error. He's been terrible.

I agree apart from the terrible bit, I'd say more average. I was expecting a leader and a fighter type player, but in reality he did neither. We improved defensively on last year, but that will have more to do with playing more defensive and having the likes of Gueye helping out.

Exactly. The defence barring Coleman are poor. Never at the races as a CL spot chasing outfit.
