Guys, we aren't getting a fee for a 33 year old CB that isn't any good. If we take on some salary, okay, we'd get a fee. My guess is they take on his salary, he does well for them, we get some performance based fees. Not much more and that would be FINE.

My guess is that we are close to signing at least one CB at this point.

What's the consensus on N'Diaye?

said he is good but worth more than !4 million, supposed to have a 21 million release clause , said they have a few in that position and it would help them buy to strengthen there team, seem to want Pearson from Preston.
Not a lot of support for Williams on there, but I think he might to ok, lets face it who did play well for us last season.

Slowly but surely the squad is being whittled down.. Funes Mori,Rooney, Garbutt,Klaasen, Robles and now Williams..possibly.

There was a suggestion a few weeks ago that Newcastle just might be looking at Bolasie. If there was any truth in the Lascalles rumour Bolasie might have a part to play in the deal.
