Maybe part of the problem is that, when Arteta picks the ball up, there's nothing infront of him to aim for. We're sat back so deep that there's nothing coming down the wings and Cahill has two centrebacks for company. It's not looking like he's going to play himself back into form. Let's use him sparingly, until we see the twinkle again, and give someone like Bily a go.

Abusing the players isn't the way to go mate. As we've seen from some of what kenada_blue's been saying, once you start going to the media, or making insulting signage, you start knocking away at a player's fragile confidence. It's no good.

Agreed mate, Moyesy needs to learn that as long as we have a back four + Fellaini we're sound defensively. He can play a front 5 of whatever he wants, doesn't have to have anyone in the hole, doesn't have to have wide players, doesn't have to have anyone up front. Think of a way to score goals Davey, that's what wins you games.

He needs dropping, put bluntly. Right now he's not hungry because he knows he's guaranteed a first team place.

I'd have him dropped for a couple of games, revert to 4-4-2. Why break up the Fellaini/Rodwell partnership in the middle when Cahill goes off in January, just to accomodate a half-asleep Arteta?
