Arteta Understands Lack of Signings

Dont rate either to be honest mate, infact badly gash both. But i take your point.

You dont play for United or Arsenal if your talentless. You've either got the head for that level or not.

Eboue was hit and miss...but plays 2 positions, right back and right wing, which we need, and at a high level who's confidence was battered when his own fans turned on him. Oh and he went for £3million.

Obertan wasnt cut out for United. Not many are. He's only 22. Cost £3million.

We paid £9million for a bench warmer in Bilya.

*EDIT* I know, at the moment he actually could be considered exactly the "secret weapon" I described, but if we're honest that fee + his wages could be better spent on a more traditional winger type. Which makes me cry a bit cause being mean to Billy is like kicking a puppy. That cheeky little grin of his....

Truer words have never been spoken, hahahaha.

I actually rate Eboue, barring the usual African player concentration thing.

But there are loads of the same out there, who would cost more. And we have nothing to spend really so it's mostly just random thoughts..

Enlighten me as to what that is.

Just my opinon mate - ive had a good look at both and wouldnt hold either in high esteem, i would have preferred Eagles to Obertan if im being honest. But i know where your coming from.

Well, aside from a select few, they (Eboue, Yobo, Kolo Toure, Yakubu, John Obi, Adebayor to name a few) seem more prone to concentration/disciplinary lapses.

ah right I've never noticed that to be honest...

You might be on to something there.

Well, as always, as soon as you start believing you've found a universal truth you start finding proof of it everywhere..
